Machine Description
The MBM 408A Automatic Programmable High Speed Folder is a superb tabletop paper folder that offers speed, versatility and automation that is simply unparalleled by other folders in its class. With the 3 roller feed system, you can smoothly churn out up to 14,400 sheets per hour in one of the 36 pre-programmed standard folds or one of 12 possible custom folds stored in the 408A's memory. The 408A automaticaly senses and displays paper size and weight, maintaining single-sheet feeding for different paper thicknesses, and with the automatic feed-conveyor and self-setting exit rollers, you're ensured smooth ejection of folded pages. The 408A automatic folder is also very versatile, taking paper ranging in size from 3.5" x 5" to 11" x 17" while producing sharp folds for paper weights between 12 lbs. and 80 lbs.
The extended exit tray ensures neat stacking of finished jobs, while the double feed detection sensor prevents mis-folded sheets from co-mingling with the finished product. The 408A will feed up to 500 sheets of paper in a single batch and features an auxiliary paper guide for cross folding, display alerts in case of operation errors and fully enclosed fold tables for notably quiet operation. The skew and micro-adjustment dials allow you to easily set up perfect folds while the quick-release roller system lets you easily clean and maintain the machine. Our San Francisco Bay Area customers can extend their service coverage to two years by purchasing our Saddle Point Systems Extended Performance Guarantee for their MBM 408A for $500. In other words, you're paying for a one year service agreement and getting two years of complete coverage. Like our One Year SPS Warranty, our performance guarantee covers the cost of all parts, labor, travel time, on-site repair and, if requested, an annual preventative maintenance check to ensure your automatic folding machine is running optimally. After purchasing the Extended Annual Performance Guarantee, we'll e-mail you our MBM 408A Service Agreement PDF for you to fill out.
