Machine Description
The 508A automatic programmable folder is manufactured by MBM Corporation and shares much in common with the 408A, its brother model. Like the 408A, the 508A features an excellent 3 roller friction feed system designed for rapid and accurate feeding of up to 500 sheets in a single batch at incredible speeds of up to 14,400 sheets per hour. The primary difference between the 408A and 508A is its overall convenience for high volume users, with the 508A able to store 24 custom fold patterns, doubling the memory capacity of the 408A, allowing the operator to eliminate setup time on a greater range of folds. The 508A automaticaly senses and displays paper size and weight, maintaining single-sheet feeding for different paper thicknesses, and with the automatic feed-conveyor and self-setting exit rollers, you're ensured smooth ejection of folded pages. The 508A automatic folder is also very versatile, taking paper ranging in size from 3.5" x 5" to 11" x 17" while producing sharp folds for paper weights between 12 lbs. and 80 lbs.
The extended exit tray ensures neat stacking of finished jobs, while the double feed detection sensor prevents mis-folded sheets from co-mingling with the finished product. The 508A will feed up to 500 sheets of paper in a single batch and features an auxiliary paper guide for cross folding, display alerts in case of operation errors and fully enclosed fold tables for notably quiet operation. The skew and micro-adjustment dials allow you to easily set up perfect folds while the quick-release roller system lets you easily clean and maintain the machine. In other words, you're paying for a one year service agreement and getting two years of complete coverage. Like our One Year SPS Warranty, our performance guarantee covers the cost of all parts, labor, travel time, on-site repair and, if requested, an annual preventative maintenance check to ensure your automatic folding machine is running optimally.
