The FlexiCloser 2 automatic wire closer, manufactured by Akiles, has been re-built for speed and durability, offering a new long-lasting heavy duty motor that closes 3:1 or 2:1 wire twice as fast as the original FlexiCloser. While traditional wire closers require operator adjustment for every wire diameter, the FlexiCloser 2 automatically detects and precisely closes all wire diameters between 3/16" and 1-1/2" with a maximum closing width of 12.5". Simply assemble your wire document using the built-in wire holder, push the unbound book against the magnetic backstop and press the bind button.
In addition to its Smart Detect System, the FlexiCloser 2 also features an LCD control panel for making micro-adjustments to specific wire sizes. Every micro-adjustment is saved to the internal memory of the FlexiCloser 2, ensuring perfect and consistent wire binding for future jobs, regardless of wire type or brand. Annual Performance Guarantee
Included in the purchase of a new Akiles
FlexiCloser 2 automatic wire closing machine is a One Year Manufacturer Warranty
which covers the cost of all labor and parts required to fix the machine if it
needs service. The customer, however, is required to pay freight expenses to
ship their machine to the manufacturer while local customers desiring on-site
service are charged $85/hour for travel time.
Our San Francisco Bay Area
customers can purchase our annual Saddle Point Systems Performance Guarantee for
their FlexiCloser 2 for $295. Our
performance guarantee is a service agreement which not only covers all parts and
labor but also includes prompt on-site repair of your machine.
Simply give us a call and one of our technicians will come to your company,
usually by the next business day, and service your machine at no additional
charge. If we can't fix your FlexiCloser 2 on site, we'll leave a
loaner to keep you up and running while we're repairing your
machine.
After purchasing the Performance Guarantee, we'll e-mail you
our FlexiCloser 2 Agreement PDF for you to fill out. Then, either email us a signed
copy or mail us a signed hard copy to put the agreement in force. Annual service
agreements must be purchased within 30 days of the original invoice date of your
wire closer and are not valid unless signed and on file with us.
