Machine Description
The 352S is the fastest folder offered by the paper handling specialists at MBM and consists of an air fed suction system that rapidly feeds paper into the fold plates and automatically ejects them at an astounding rate of up to 30,000 sheets per hour with sheet sizes ranging from 3 3/8 x 4 3/4 inches by 12 5/8 x 17 3/4 inches. Like its brother model, the 352F, the 352S has needle bearings for high speed production but unlike friction folders, which are designed for standard printed documents, the air feed system works in conjunction with a bottom-fed, top-loading design for continuous reloading and consistent sheet separation, making the 352S ideally suited for high volume digital production of glossy or coated stocks.
Aside from its unparalleled productivity, the 352S is very easy to use. Its folding trays are easily adjusted for standard and custom folds and the output speed can be changed with the turn of a dial. The powered exit conveyer automates the ejection of your folded sheets and the polyurethane foam rollers eliminate the need for extraneous fold roller pressure settings. Additionally, the turbine blower is fully enclosed for quiet operation and the folding unit is mounted on casters for easy movement around your place of business. The 352S also has optional modular attachments that include an extended delivery system, crossfold for right-angle folding as well as folding, slitting and scoring units. Our San Francisco Bay Area customers can extend their service coverage to two years by purchasing our Saddle Point Systems Extended Performance Guarantee for their MBM 352S for $1,350. In other words, you're paying for a one year service agreement and getting two years of complete coverage. Like our One Year SPS Warranty, our performance guarantee covers the cost of all parts, labor, travel time, on-site repair and, if requested, an annual preventative maintenance check to ensure your automatic folding machine is running optimally. Simply give us a call and one of our technicians will come to your company, usually by the next business day, and service your machine at no additional charge.
After purchasing the Extended Annual Performance Guarantee, we'll e-mail you our MBM 352S Service Agreement PDF for you to fill out.
