Machine Description
The James Burn Wire-O Bind 3000S is a semi-automatic wire binding machine designed for today's modern in-plant, digital and on-demand printing environments. This spectacular machine binds between 500 and 1,000 books per hour using cost-efficient wire spools, with the ability to program all size and format setups through the user-friendly touch screen control panel. The automatic functions cut, feed and position the wire for insertion and then send the document to a patented closing unit that accurately positions the document without the need for stops or paper guides, with the ability to finish flush cut or overhanging covers, as well as extended tabs. The Wire-O Bind 3000S is also versatile in that it will finish all 3:1 and 2:1 pitch Wire-O sizes from 1/4 to 1-1/4 inches.
The ergonomic design of the Wire-O Bind 3000S features a large tabletop workstation that reduces operator fatigue with the option of a push-button or foot pedal switch to engage the binding cycles. Additionally, the spools of wire are loaded at the floor level and the wire is power lifted into position for supreme convenience, with caster wheels that allow you to easily move your equipment. The Wire-O Bind 3000S is designed to work in tandem with the Alpha-Doc MK4 or DocuPunch MK2 automatic punching machines.
