Machine Description
The CoilMac-EPI, manufactured by Akiles, is a heavy duty electric coil punch and inserter that we highly recommend to companies doing mid to high volume coil binding. The powerful punch and speedy electric inserter, operated with the touch of a foot pedal, making insertion much faster compared to manual machines. Additionally, with the U-shaped alignment channel the operator can shape the spine of the document to conform to the natural shape of the coil for quicker, easier coil insertion.
The CoilMac-EPI features fully disengageable pins with an open throat, continuous punch guide for clean and professional punching of virtually any length paper. The heavy-duty motor will punch 25 sheets of 20lb. paper per pass and has a duty cycle rated for continuous, all-day punching. The full length roller inserter is front mounted for greater control while the side and depth margin controls allow for evenly centered and properly inserted coil documents for any size coil. The cast-hardened steel dies provide superior strength that will guarantee precise punches for years to come while the industrial grade roller motor and a rugged all metal construction makes the CoilMac-EPI one of the most durable coil binding machines in its class. Included in the purchase of a new Akiles
CoilMac-EPI heavy duty all-in-one electric coil binder is a One Year Manufacturer
Warranty which covers the cost of all labor and parts required to fix the
machine if it needs service. The customer, however, is required to pay freight
expenses to ship their machine to the manufacturer while local customers
desiring on-site service are charged $85/hour for travel time.
Our San Francisco Bay Area
customers can purchase our annual Saddle Point Systems Performance Guarantee for
their CoilMac-EPI for $325. Our performance guarantee is a service agreement
which not only covers all parts and labor but also includes prompt
on-site repair of your machine. Simply give us a call and one
of our technicians will come to your company, usually by the next business day,
and service your machine at no additional charge. If we can't fix your
CoilMac-EPI on site, we'll leave a loaner to keep you up
and running while we're repairing your machine.
After purchasing the
Performance Guarantee, we'll e-mail you our CoilMac-EPI Agreement PDF for you
to fill out. Then, either e-mail us a signed copy or mail us a signed hard copy to
put the agreement in force. Annual service agreements must be purchased within
30 days of the original invoice date of your coil binder and are not valid
unless signed and on file with us.
