Machine Description
The MBM Triumph 5560 is a powerhouse automatic programmable hydraulic cutter that will cut up to 3 3/4" of paper, the highest rating of all Triumph cutters. Its hydraulic blade and clamp drive have fully adjustable pressure between 1,900 and 3,800 psi (allowing for such a deep cut) and the 5560 has a foot pedal for manual pre-clamping. The comprehensive SCS safety package includes patented EASY CUT electronic blade activation bars for true two-handed operation, infrared light beam safety curtain on the front table, rear table safety cover, lockable main switch and 24 volt controls to maintain low voltage. And with the patented IDEAL safety drive, the blade and clamp automatically return from every position. The blade changing device covers the entire blade to prevent any unwanted injuries and, for added convenience, the blade depth can be adjusted from the outside of the machine while both blade and cutting sticks can be changed without removing the 5560's metal cover.
Besides its impressive power and safety, the Triumph 5560 is extremely precise and easy to use, with cuts accurate to 1/10mm and a digital measurement display that will store 99 programs with up to 99 steps in each (with up to 15 repeat cuts integrated into a single step). For additional operator convenience the machine is pre-programmed for standard paper sizes and features a memory key for repeat cuts as well as automatic SET function for referencing measurements and EJECT function for pushing out paper. The 5560's self-diagnostic system identifies any problems with its error indication display and the electronic hand wheel has variable speed control to manually control the back gauge settings. The bright, LED optical cutting line shows exactly where the high quality, German HSS blade will cut with its precision swing blade movement. The 5560 comes equipment with a variety of helpful tools and innovative features including an aluminum blade carrier and clamp bar, stainless steel work surface, false clamp plate, casters for easy movement, adjustable blade guides, easy access tool holder and a paper blocking tool.
