Machine Description
The Fastback® Model 20 is the latest thermal tape binding machine manufactured by Powis Parker, incorporating a number of exciting new features that set a new standard for the document binding industry. In terms of productivity, the Model 20 will produce beautiful tape bound books in 12 seconds flat--10 seconds faster than its predecessor, the Model 15xs, nearly four times faster than traditional binding solutions such as comb, wire or coil. With regard to craftsmanship, Powis Parker's FB Model 20 is by far the most sophisticated document binder on the market, with easily upgradeable firmware for the latest technical updates as well multiple boot modes allowing you to transition from lightning quick bind cycles for normal bookbinding to low-temperature bind cycles for binding delicate materials such as laser-printed coverstock.
The Model 20 comes with a LCD display that guides the user through each binding process, automatic strip feeding technology that utilizes two precision heaters to optimize each bind cycle for maximum binding strength, only three minutes of warm-up time and, on average, energy usage that's 75% more efficient than the Fastback® Model 15xs. Additionally, with the Model 20's ability to work with all Powis Parker binding materials, including the new fully customizable Image Strips, you can easily transition between binding tape bound reports, hardcover books and perfect bound books in seconds.

When a local customer purchases a new Fastback® Model 20 Document Binder from us, we include our Saddle Point Systems One Year Local Warranty at no additional charge as described above.
Our San Francisco Bay Area customers can extend their service coverage to two years by purchasing our Saddle Point Systems Extended Performance Guarantee for their Fastback® Model 20 for $595. In other words, you're paying for a one year service agreement and getting two years of complete coverage. Like our One Year SPS Warranty, our performance guarantee covers the cost of all parts, labor, travel time, on-site repair and, if requested, an annual preventative maintenance check to ensure your Fastback® is running optimally. Simply give us a call and one of our technicians will come to your company, usually by the next business day, and service your machine at no additional charge. If we can't fix your Fastback® Model 20 on site, we'll leave you a loaner to keep you up and running while we're repairing your machine.
After purchasing the Extended Annual Performance Guarantee, we'll e-mail you our Fastback® Model 20 Service Agreement PDF for you to fill out. Then, either e-mail us a signed copy or mail us a signed hard copy to put the agreement in force. Annual service agreements must be purchased within 30 days of the original invoice date of your Fastback® Model 20 and are not valid unless signed and on file with us.
