The Formax Cut-True 31H Hydraulic Guillotine Paper Cutter is designed for large-format, high-capacity cutting in commercial print and in-plant finishing environments. Capable of handling stacks up to 28” wide and nearly 4” high, it combines a hydraulic blade and clamp drive with heavy-duty construction for consistent, precise results. The hydraulic clamp pressure can be adjusted via the integrated pressure gauge to suit different paper weights and stack heights, while the removable false clamp reduces the risk of marking sensitive materials and can be easily stored within the machine.
Operation is facilitated by a color touchscreen control panel, which allows users to program up to 100 jobs with 100 cuts per job. The electronically-adjustable back gauge and fine-tuning switch ensure accurate positioning, while the foot pedal pre-clamp and bright LED Cutting Line allow operators to see exactly where the blade will cut. An internal light further illuminates the cutting area for improved visibility, and a low-friction air-assist ball deck with optional large side tables makes handling wide or heavy sheets easier.
