The Formax FD 6210 Series Inserters provide a flexible, modular solution for offices and small mail centers that need dependable mid-volume folding and inserting automation. Available in four configurations, the series includes single- and dual-feeder models, as well as versions equipped with dedicated and special insert/BRE feeders. This range allows organizations to select the setup that best fits their document flow, whether preparing simple letters or multi-piece mailings.
Each model features a 7-inch full-color touchscreen with an intuitive graphical interface, giving operators clear access to job settings, system status, and stored programs. AutoSet automatically measures paper length, envelope size, and fold requirements, enabling fast one-touch setup. Up to 50 programmable jobs can be stored for instant recall, supporting frequent or recurring mailing tasks. The 6210 Series folds up to five sheets at once and supports multiple fold types including C, V, Z, double parallel, or fold-only operation without inserting.
Standard features include multi-sheet feeding, accumulate-before-folding for cleaner sets, double document detection, and paper and envelope presence sensors. A high-capacity vertical output stacker holds up to 500 filled envelopes, while the top-loading envelope hopper and easy-access paper path streamline operation and routine maintenance. ECO mode automatically places the system in standby after one hour of inactivity to reduce energy usage.
A range of options further expands capability, including a productivity package that increases output to 2,500 pieces per hour with a duty cycle of 20,000 pieces per month, a full-page CIS scanner for OMR and barcode reading, short feed trays, a production insert feeder for items up to 6 inches long, and choice of front or rear exit trays. Our San Francisco Bay Area customers can extend their service coverage to two years by purchasing our Saddle Point Systems Extended Performance Guarantee for their FD 6210 Series for $1,495. In other words, you're paying for a one year service agreement and getting two years of complete coverage. Like our One Year SPS Warranty, our performance guarantee covers the cost of all parts, labor, travel time, on-site repair and, if requested, an annual preventative maintenance check to ensure your inserter is running optimally. Simply give us a call and one of our technicians will come to your company, usually by the next business day, and service your machine at no additional charge.
After purchasing the Extended Annual Performance Guarantee, we'll e-mail you our Formax FD 6210 Series Service Agreement PDF for you to fill out.
