The Formax FD 6104 Inserter automates low-volume mailing tasks with speed, simplicity, and precision.
Designed for small offices, schools, and mailrooms, this compact tabletop unit folds and inserts up to 1,350 filled envelopes per hour. It features two automatic sheet feeders, a dedicated insert/BRE feeder, and intuitive wizard-based touchscreen controls for easy setup and operation. Operators can program and recall up to 15 jobs, view system status in real time, and process documents up to 14 inches long. Standard features include double document detection, cascade mode, ECO mode, and a clamshell design for simple maintenance. The FD 6104 accommodates up to five sheets per envelope and supports multiple fold types including C, V, and double parallel. Its quiet, reliable performance makes it a cost-effective upgrade from manual folding and inserting.

The Formax FD 6210 Series Inserters combine mid-volume performance with simple, automated operation, offering four configurations to handle a wide range of office mailing tasks.
Models include single- and dual-sheet feeder versions, as well as configurations with dedicated and special insert/BRE feeders. A 7" full-color touchscreen with AutoSet provides one-touch setup by automatically measuring paper, fold, and envelope sizes, while up to 50 programmable jobs allow fast recall of frequent applications. Standard capabilities include multi-sheet feeding up to five sheets, accumulate-before-folding, double document detection, and multiple fold types such as C, V, Z, and double parallel. A high-capacity vertical stacker holds up to 500 finished envelopes, and top-loading feeders simplify loading and changeovers. ECO mode reduces energy use by placing the system in standby after periods of inactivity. Optional upgrades—such as a productivity package, CIS scanning, short feed trays, and production feeders—add versatility as mailing needs grow.
The Formax 6308 Series Inserters are designed for offices and small mailrooms needing reliable folding and inserting with higher capacities than entry-level systems.
Four configurations are available, offering combinations of standard feeders, special feeders, a high-capacity sheet feeder holding up to 725 sheets, and optional intelligence for barcode-driven jobs. A 7" full-color touchscreen simplifies setup with clear icons and access to 50 programmable jobs, while AutoSet automatically measures paper and envelope sizes for quick changeovers. Standard features include a large top-loading envelope hopper, double document detection, automatic sensors for paper and envelope presence, and a vertical output stacker that holds up to 500 finished pieces. A viewing window provides visibility into the insert area without pausing operation. Models with intelligence use a full-width CIS scanner capable of reading OMR, 1D and 2D barcodes, and QR codes in any position on the page. For growing volumes or more complex workflows, optional production feeders, advanced scanning licenses, and software tools further expand capability.
