The WireMac-E, manufactured by Akiles, is an all-in-one electric wire binding machine that's an ideal binding system for commercial volume workloads. The WireMac-E is produced in two models, the WireMac-E31 and WireMac-E21. The E31 features a 3:1 pitch die for wire binding documents between 3/16" and 9/16" in width while the E21 features a 2:1 pitch die for wire binding documents between 5/8" and 1-1/4" in width. Both models feature a heavy duty electric punch rated at 20 sheets per cycle, operated by a convenient foot pedal, along with a built-in manual closer. Side margin control provides an evenly centered punch for all size documents and the reverse (anti-jam) function ensures trouble free punching. One Year Performance Guarantee

Included in the purchase of a new Akiles WireMac-E all-in-one electric wire binding machine is a One Year Manufacturer Warranty which covers the cost of all labor and parts required to fix the machine if it needs service. The customer, however, is required to pay freight expenses to ship their machine to and from Saddle Point Systems while local customers desiring on-site service are charged $45/hour for travel time.

San Francisco Bay Area customers can purchase our One Year Saddle Point Systems Performance Guarantee for their WireMac-E for just $150. Our performance guarantee is a service agreement which not only covers all parts and labor but includes prompt on-site repair of your WireMac-E. Simply give us a call and one of our technicians will come to your company, usually by the next business day, and service your machine at no additional charge. If we can't fix your WireMac-E on site, we'll leave you a loaner to keep you up and running while we're repairing your machine.

After purchasing the Performance Guarantee, we'll e-mail you our Akiles WireMac-E Service Agreement PDF (within one business day) for you to fill out. Then, either fax us a signed copy or mail us a signed hard copy to put the agreement in force. Annual service agreements must be purchased within 30 days of the original invoice date of your WireMac-E and are not valid unless signed and on file with us.
